Pirelli tyre test: Day 1+2

Today seen Pirelli return to Formula 1 after 19 years out of the sport. Teams are testing the new tyres and adjusting their cars to the new rubber whilst trying to understand as much as possible about them. Again, lap times are not the ultimate goal in these tests but below you can see what each drivers best lap was today and compare it to the best laps for each team from qualifying and the race during the grand prix last weekend as well as the times set during the young drivers test earlier this week, all on Bridgestone tyres.

UPDATE: Times from day 2 of the Pirelli tyre test are now shown. That concludes the testing in Abu Dhabi and indeed all F1 running for the year. The first tests of 2011 will be on the 1st February in Valencia.
