Still was a bit too much but agree abot Canada, everyone was a bit mad that day ha!

@Deb I think with a good car he can get podiums. i can't see him taking another title because that would be a huge ask to put together a consistent and fast year but picking up good results here and there is definitely feasibleConnorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04437704014161105516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5377651997377031762.post-49711624017428330772010-11-18T22:27:30.370+00:002010-11-18T22:27:30.370+00:00Agree with so many of your points. From his first ...Agree with so many of your points. From his first day of testing the new Mercedes car in 2010 he knew he would have issues with it. I think he also spent a lot of the season familiarising himself with being in a competitive race again. A lot had changed in his absense. However I really believe if Mercedes provide him with a good car (and I think there is a good chance of this, especially with the amount of feedback MSC gave them during the year)and he gets all he expects from the new Pirelli tyres, Schumacher will be back on the podium in 2011.Debhttp://www.twitter.com/qm79noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5377651997377031762.post-51663920374838934292010-11-18T22:26:50.343+00:002010-11-18T22:26:50.343+00:00I still think the Rubens incident was more oldscho...I still think the Rubens incident was more oldschool racing than anything 'naughty' really, there's certainly other drivers who've done worse this year and NOT been penalised for it. Hell Schumacher himself in Canada was one of quite a few who deserved to get penalties in that race, and at least he didn't put anyone in danger in the pitlane... I also think that if a certain McLaren driver or someone like Kobayashi had pulled the 'Rubens' move, it would have been fine. Sadly a lot of pressure was put on Schumacher by haters and bitter old rivals like Damon Hill who have NO place being in what is supposed to be an impartial position of authority.

Overall though I agree it wasn't the season he would have wanted, BUT it's hardly given any good reason for him to walk away from the sport. His first years at Ferrari were also very difficult but if he can have the same kind of input at Mercedes as he did at Ferrari, I think he can pull some more of the old magic out of the bag.Tonenoreply@blogger.com
